Meet Our Leadership

Apostle, Dr. W. Campbell, PhD.

 President & Chancellor

Biography

Dr. Walter Campbell was born and raised in the historic city of Fort Pierce, Florida. For a short time he attended school in Orange County, Florida, before returning to Fort Pierce where he graduated from the local public school system. Dr. Campbell later pursued higher education in theological studies, earning a Bachelor’s Degree from ULC Seminary and a Doctorate from UM School of Theology.

Dr. Campbell is a devoted husband and father of three children. He has been married for more than six years to his wife, Britney Campbell. In his personal time, he enjoys singing, playing golf, traveling, and conducting research.

Dr. Campbell discovered his love for singing at the early age of six years old. His singing ministry quickly began to flourish, and by the age of nine he was traveling throughout different areas of Florida and surrounding regions, ministering through song at church programs and special events.

Growing up in Fort Pierce, Dr. Campbell spent much of his youth around the funeral service profession. He worked and served at Sarah’s Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, where he often ministered to grieving families during difficult moments in their lives. Later, he continued his service at Hortense & Mills Memorial Funeral Home in Vero Beach, Florida. His compassion for helping people during times of sorrow developed into a lifelong passion for serving others.

Dr. Campbell was raised from birth by his grandparents, Virginia Stewart and Morris Stewart, who provided him with a loving home and strong foundation in faith and compassion for people. His great-grandmother, Pastor Dorothy Lurry, also played a major role in helping raise and guide him spiritually. Her passing on February 26, 2019, left him in disbelief, yet it strengthened his commitment to continue his ministry work.

With a passion to serve the community, Dr. Campbell founded Pentecostal Bread of Life Church International Ministry in the great city of Vero Beach, Florida. Through this ministry he organized outreach efforts, fed the homeless, and helped those in need—sometimes even providing food from his own home to ensure the community was cared for.

Later, the ministry was transitioned and renamed The Work of Christ Incorporated. Dr. Campbell chose this name because he believes that everything done in ministry should represent the work of Christ.

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.” — Colossians 3:23

Dr. Campbell also served as the President of Bread of Life Church Bible College, helping to train and develop leaders for ministry.
